How do preorders work?

By pre-ordering you purchase your favorite piece while its still in the process of being produced. The production will take a few weeks. According to our factory the pieces will be ready beginning/mid of April and then packed and shipped by us as soon as possible.

 

How much does the shipping cost? / What is the delivery time of my order?/ Are you shipping to my country?

These above stated shipping prices might differ, exact shipping costs will be shown at checkout. Also if your country is not shown in this sheet that doesn’t mean we will not ship to your country, at the checkout you will see how much your exact shipping costs will be and we will state a possible delivery date.

Putting The Health Of Our Communities First

We wanted to let you know which actions we are taking to put the health and safety of our communities first, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Maja Bali the Label and our partners are taking the necessary precautions and hygiene recommendations of experts to ensure a safe work environment.

Our Maja Bali team as well as the production team in Bali and the logistics team have been briefed on prioritising the health and hygiene of staff members. All of our clothing is being handled by clean and sanitised hands and daily sanitation of work spaces is taking place.

We will keep you updated of any changes.

Can I track my order?

Yes, once your order is dispatched you’ll receive an email containing the tracking link.


When will my order be dispatched?
When all pieces are produced, roughly in 4-6 weeks.

My order is taking longer than expected.

Once your order has been sent, it is in the hands of the courier. Shipping time estimates are given to us by the courier company, and may vary depending on locations. Any delays are outside of our control. Please also be aware of the fact that COVID-19 might also affect delivery times.


Are there customs/ import duties or taxes?

Customs duties may apply especially for Europe! Further information please read below.


All orders are being shipped from our warehouse in Bali. Therefore please be aware your country or national postal service may charge an additional customs duty, import tax or handling fee. Maja Bali the Label is not responsible for any applicable duty, value added taxes (VAT), import consumption tax or handling charged to you by your country or postal service. Maja Bali the Label is legally required to declare the full Dollar value paid on international shipments. If problems occur please contact your local post office or customs. 

Should the customer refuse to pay duties and taxes held on an order applied by customs the responsibility lies with the customer to arrange for the order to be returned to Maja Bali in order to receive a refund. Refunds will only be issued once return orders have been received.

Please contact your local customs office for more information regarding taxes and duties payable in your region.

To make sure it’s not all on you, we reduced all our product prices 15-20%!


I entered the wrong address, what can I do?

No worries! If you entered the wrong address, please send us an e-mail to support@maja-bali.com to let us know, or pop us a message on Instagram. If your order hasn’t been shipped already we can change your address. If it has been shipped already you will have to contact our shipping company to change your address and redirect your order. Additional costs may apply!


What if my package was returned to sender?

If the parcel is returned to sender as a result of being refused by the recipient or not collected from the collection point, then the order may not be eligible for refund. If that’s not the case and your package has been returned without obvious reason, please contact us per support@maja-bali.com and we will be able to take care of your case individually.



Returns


Can I return my order?

Yes, you definitely can. We do have three different return addresses: Germany / Australia / Bali. 


We will happily accept all items purchased from www.maja-bali.com in their original, clean and unworn condition with all tags attached for a refund. Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unused, and with all original tags still attached. You have 14 days from the day you receive your item(s) to qualify for a refund. 

To start a return, you can contact us at support@maja-bali.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.


Do I have to pay for return shipping fees?

We care for our environment and want to minimize returns as much as possible. Please think twice before you order something and check the exact measurements of the pieces you want to buy to avoid preventable returns. If you need to return something you will be responsible for paying return shipping costs. We recommend reusing the packaging your order came in to lower your environmental impact.

(The only instance in which we will cover postage costs will be in the event of a faulty or incorrectly posted item.)


Can I exchange an item for another size?

If you would like to exchange something for a different size or style, please return the original item(s) for a refund and place a new order. We can’t provide exchanges due to our fast sell outs and the fact that most of the time different sizes aren’t available, at the time of return, anymore.


When will I receive my refund?

Once we have received your items, please allow 7-14 business to process your return and 5-10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account. We’ll send you an email when our team has processed your refund so you know it’s on the way.


What happens if a return gets lost or damaged on the way?

Since you’re responsible for your returns, we always recommend choosing an insured shipping option, to make sure that if your package gets lost or damaged you will be compensated by the shipping company.

Our prices are in Euro, but we have a currency converter integrated if you want to see the prices in your currency.

 


Fit Guide


Are the Maja Bali pieces true to size?

Yes, our pieces are true to size unless otherwise stated in the product description. Nonetheless we always recommend checking the exact measurements of each style before buying, to make sure you order a size that fits.


How can I find out which size is the right one for me?

We recommend measuring your bust, waist, and height and then compare your measurements with the ones we provide for each style. This way you make sure to find the perfect fit. I don’t have a tape measure. How can I find out my measurements?
If you don’t have a measuring tape do not worry! Find yourself a (flexible) long object (ribbon, paper, pair of jeans, spoon,cable,...) and a ruler or other object of comparison that you know the length of (printer paper, paper money,...) Take your objects and start measuring or mark your objects every few centimeters before. 


Care Instructions


How do I wash my Maja Bali pieces?

To be able to wear them for a long time please only hand wash our pieces in cold water with eco-friendly and gentle detergents and do not tumble dry them. Also make sure to not iron or wring Maja Bali clothes to prevent the fabric from being destroyed. If you have a washing machine with a gentle washing option please consider using a washing bag for extra protection.

What packaging do you use for my order?

We try to choose the most ethical option for your packaging. Either cardboard or biodegradable plastic. Our Maja Bali canvas bags are reusable and designed to be used as laundry bags, travel packing cubes, storage bags, bikini bags or else. The shipping cartons we use are made from paper and are also meant to be reused.


What are your pieces made out of?

Our Maja Bali pieces are from different materials. Please check each product for details. We are still in the process of finding not only high quality and durable fabrics but also ethical ones without shipping fabrics around the globe first. Thats why our sustainable options are limited here in Bali for now, but we are taking measures to be even more conscious about every part of our production process.


Where are your pieces made?

All our pieces are being ethically produced by our production company in Bali. The company takes big care of providing their workers with fair wages and good working conditions. They’re like a big family and support each other not just at work.


Are your products vegan?

Yes. All of our products are 100% vegan. From fabric, to dye, to packaging.


What happens to leftover fabric?

We try to produce as little waste as only possible. This we do by designing pieces that are made from the leftover material of other designs, like our bandeau tops that are being made from the fabric waste of our flowy pants. We also decided to make scrunchies from any leftover fabric to save a lot of material that would’ve been thrown away otherwise.


What are your sustainable standards?

We try our best to be a brand that not only designs cute clothes, but also cares about the people that produce our designs and the impact we have on our environment. We’re not perfect, but we try to take sustainable steps each day!


  • We only work with companies that pay their workers fair wages and provide them with good working conditions.
  • W try to choose fabric for our designs that is environmentally friendly oriented and releases only a reduced amount of emissions during the production process (like linen and bamboo). We see a lot of potential in growing more conscious in this area.
  • We limit plastic to the absolut minimum. Some pieces are shipped with biodegradable mailing bags.
  • We try to limit the waste we produce as much as possible by using leftovers for pieces like scrunchies or bandeau tops. Further we try not to overproduce any style, that's why we introduced the preorder system.
  • We design only high quality pieces that are timeless and are meant to last for a very long time if cared for properly.
  • We ship our pieces from the origin of production to avoid extra emissions for the transport to a foreign warehouse.
